Achaius Ranch is a 501(c)(3) charity, funded by donations, which are tax deductible. All that we do at Achaius Ranch for horses, children, and families is completely free to the recipients, always.
What your donation helps with:
Your donations are crucial to this ministry. Below are some start-up and ongoing expenses.
Approximate annual routine* expenses to care for one average horse:
$800 for food
$120 for worming and annual vet check with immunizations
$120 for dentist
$240 for hoof trimming (we are extremely blessed and thankful to have an excellent farrier who has agreed to provide this service free of charge! More info on that here.)
*abused/neglected horses with physical problems will require additional care with widely varying expenses.Of course the ranch has many other expenses and needs, such as fly control, landscaping and other improvements.
